New Schedule for Madaraka Express
After a long halt due to the coronavirus, Madaraka Express Train between Nairobi and Mombasa is set to resume operations on July 13th, 2020.
The update was made through the Kenya Railways Facebook Page.

Morning SGR Express Train
- Nairobi Mombasa: 08:00 am – 13:15pm
- Mombasa to Nairobi: 08:00 am – 13:05pm
Afternoon SGR Express Train
- Nairobi to Mombasa: 2:15 pm – 7:30 pm
- Mombasa to Nairobi: 2:15 pm – 7:20 pm
Inter-County Train Schedule
- Nairobi to Mombasa: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Mombasa to Nairobi: 8:00 am – 2:10 pm
Advance booking can be done60 days before the travel date.
Link Trains (Nairobi CBD – Nairobi SGR Terminus)
There will also be commuter link trains between Nairobi Central Station and Nairobi SGR Terminus in Syokimau.

Morning Link Train
- Nairobi CBD to Nairobi Terminus: 06:35 am – 07:30 am
Afternoon Link Train
- Nairobi CBD to Nairobi Terminus: 12:00 pm – 12:40 pm
- SGR Terminus to Nairobi CBD: 13:30 pm – 14:10 pm
- SGR Terminus to Nairobi CBD: 19:40 pm – 20:20 pm

Refunds and Rescheduling
Cancellation and Refunds discontinued until further notice but one can reschedule once for Free.
